Is Orangetheory calorie burn accurate?
Calorie burn estimates based on HR are okay when doing steady state cardio.
They are grossly inaccurate when doing HIIT workouts.
It’s assumed that anyone would burn 100 calories for every mile that you run..
Is Orangetheory twice a week enough?
So, yes! Two workouts a week is perfect in the beginning, but I would encourage members to consider adding one day per week for every month you’re a member (if it’s your second month, bump it to three workouts a week, and then in your third month, bump it up to four workouts a week). Just a personal suggestion.
How often should you do Orangetheory to see results?
Those who are members of Orangetheory Fitness will stand by it through-and-through. The “afterburn” theory can play a major component in fat-burning, but many enthusiasts do claim it doesn’t come easy. For optimal results, you may want to attend four to six sessions per week, along with a healthy diet.

How often should I go to Orangetheory to lose weight?
I personally go 4 days a week and found when I went 5 or more it was not enjoyable at that point. Not sure what your weight loss goal is but at 4 times a week you should really see great results in 3 months( granted your diet plan is followed MOST of the time).
How many days a week should you do Orangetheory?
I try to make it to OTF 3-4 times a week. I like to do 2 days in a row, 1 day off, and then 2 in a row again. I seem to get the most out of my workouts that way but as others have said, everyone is different. You have to mess around with your class schedule a bit and see what really works for you.
Is Orangetheory unlimited worth it?
YES. I won’t lie, I feel it’s very pricey, but depending on your fitness goals, it can be worth it. I have an unlimited monthly package for $149/month. You can also get a package for 4 classes/month and 8 classes/month which is more affordable.
Is 30 splat points too much?
2 answers. Splat points are of little importance, the most important thing is that each individual has an excellent workout and experience. I think that you will get a good workout if you don’t get any splat points. I would say at 30 splat points would be the top and even that is overtraining in my opinion.
Is Orange theory better than CrossFit?
Here’s the difference between Orangetheory and CrossFit: Overall, expect to do more cardio and high-intensity interval training at an Orangetheory class, while CrossFit has a bigger emphasis on strength training.
